Self-hosted Software
“Self-hosted” refers to running software [[ server ]] applications on infrastructure that you manage to some extent, as opposed to managed SaaS applications.
Self-hosting and homelabs go hand-in-hand, but you can self-host on Infra- or Platform-as-a-service providers like AWS, Fly.io, Digital Ocean, Heroku, etc.
